Day 1: Arrive in Kochi

Arrive in Kochi. Fort Kochi, the Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church and Mattancherry.

Day 2: Kochi to Munnar

Drive up to Munnar past waterfalls and spice gardens.

Day 3: Munnar

Eravikulam National Park (closed 1 February to 31 March), the Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam and Top Station.

Day 4: Munnar to Thekkady

Drive to Thekkady: spice plantation tour and an evening Kathakali or martial-arts show.

Day 5: Thekkady to Alleppey

Morning boat ride on Periyar lake, then drive to Alleppey and board a licensed houseboat for the night.

Day 6: Alleppey to Kovalam

Disembark in the morning and drive to Kovalam. Evening on the beach.

Day 7: Depart

Transfer to Thiruvananthapuram airport.
