Day 1: Arrive in Delhi

Fly from Calicut or Kochi to Delhi. Overnight in Delhi (or drive straight on to Shimla if you land early).

Day 2: Delhi to Shimla

Drive to Shimla via Chandigarh. Evening on the Mall Road and the Ridge.

Day 3: Shimla and Kufri

Kufri in the morning, then Jakhoo temple and Christ Church.

Day 4: Shimla to Manali

Drive through Mandi and the Kullu valley to Manali, with a stop for river views.

Day 5: Solang Valley and Atal Tunnel

Solang Valley and, road permitting, through the Atal Tunnel to Sissu. Snow in winter; paragliding in season.

Day 6: Manali sightseeing

Hadimba temple, Vashisht hot springs, Club House and Old Manali cafés.

Day 7: Manali to Delhi or Chandigarh

Drive down for your flight home, or take an overnight Volvo to Delhi.
