Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Srinagar

Fly via Delhi to Srinagar. Check in to a houseboat on Dal Lake and enjoy an evening shikara ride.

Day 2: Srinagar and Sonamarg

Day trip to Sonamarg and Thajiwas glacier (pony rides optional). Night in a Srinagar hotel.

Day 3: Srinagar to Gulmarg

Mughal gardens and Shankaracharya viewpoint in the morning, then drive to Gulmarg. Gondola ride (weather permitting).

Day 4: Gulmarg to Pahalgam

Drive to Pahalgam, passing saffron fields and the Awantipora ruins.

Day 5: Pahalgam

Betaab Valley, Aru and Chandanwari by the local union taxi, or a relaxed day by the Lidder river.

Day 6: Fly home

Drive to Srinagar airport for your flight home via Delhi.
